Built
into the cliff directly above Albufeira's splendid sandy beach, the hotel

The hotel is built into the cliff side and rises from the beach level to the entrance on the top floor which is above the famous pedestrian tunnel linking the centre of Albufeira to the beach.
A quiet coastal lane leads to the next bay where the colourful fishing boats are pulled up on the beach with many fish restaurants. The westerly direction leads to a view point overlooking the sea and the marina. Hotel Sole Mar is close to the bars, restaurants and night life of Albufeira, a car is therefore not required.
