It is situated on a quiet street with steps leading down to the tourist area.

A quiet coastal lane leads to the next bay where the colourful fishing boats are pulled up on the beach with many fish restaurants. 

The westerly direction leads to a view point overlooking the sea and the marina.

Hotel Sole Mar is close to the bars, restaurants and night life of Albufeira, a car is therefore not required.  The Hotel also has a coutesy coach.
