The cottage has a comfortable sitting room with fireplace, sofa, music centre and television.

The fitted kitchenette has a folding table and basic facilities.

There is a twin bedroom and separate bathroom.  An additional bed is available which can be put up without noticeable loss of space.

A family party could take this cottage and, the adjacent two bedroom cottage, O Celeiro which can accommodate an additional 4 persons.

For dining outside, there is a private terrace with wonderful views over the vineyards.

The cottage is within walking distance of Ponte de Lima. However, in order to enjoy the beautiful, surrounding countryside, a car is recommended.

The estate is covered by vines, olive trees, oranges and lemons and is surrounded by woods of pine trees and sweet chestnuts.

Ponte de Lima has a spectacular golf course and many good and inexpensive restaurants.

The National Park of Peneda Geres is easily reached by car where you can still see the rapidly disappearing subsistence agriculture in the old Celtic villages.

Also worth visiting is the old sailing town of Viana do Castelo, Braga, Guimaraes and the Port Wine Houses in Porto.

You may also care to visit Vigo, Baiona and Santiago de Compostela in the Galicia region of Spain.
