In former days, the wealthy
Portuguese preferred the cooler north of Portugal to build their
manor houses.
For this reason there are
very few houses in the area that are suitable for our sites.
Changing fashions, have turned
the Algarve into a popular tourist destination with its dry sunny weather
and attractive beaches.
The many excellent golf courses
in the region is another popular reason for visiting the Algarve.
We have inspected the manor
houses and have been satisfied that the owner will provide the facilities
and advice to make the stay enjoyable.

area is in modern hotels apartments and villas which are included in separate
